Kellie is the Division Director for the Southwest Texas Crisis Collaborative (STCC), the Behavioral Health division of the Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council (STRAC) in San Antonio, TX. STRAC serves 22 counties that stretch over 26,000 square miles, whose membership includes 63 hospitals, 71 EMS agencies, 4 Air Medical providers and other behavioral health and public safety partners. The STCC is an effort focused on ending ineffective utilization of services for the safety net population at the intersection of mental illness, homelessness, and high utilization in Southwest Texas. STCC is committed to improvement by developing a comprehensive, integrated crisis system across all major public payors, hospital providers, philanthropy, public safety (Fire/EMS and Law Enforcement) and behavioral health providers. Kellie oversees the team that manages twenty plus crisis Behavioral Health programs, as well as the regional Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) programs thru STRAC. Kellie is also a Licensed Paramedic with the State of Texas and spent 21 years in EMS, both in the field and in leadership roles, prior to coming to STRAC. Kellie has a bachelor’s degree in Community Health from Texas Tech University and lives with her husband and children in Cibolo, Texas.
