Phillip is the Associate Executive Director of Strategy and Operations at NYC H+H / South Brooklyn Health. He has served in this role for over a year, previously serving as the Associate Executive Director of Strategy and Planning for 2 years. Prior to joining South Brooklyn Health, Phillip served as the Deputy Chief of Strategy and Innovation for Health in the New York City Mayor's Office. While working at the Mayor's Office he was responsible for the portfolio of health agencies and guiding the development and implementation of health policy and programs. Phillip joined the City of New York from Huron Consulting Group, where he worked with hospitals, health departments, and municipalities across the country to manage costs, develop new strategies, and optimize operations. He started his career in healthcare as a sustainbility consultant with TerraLocke Inc. working with hospitals, healthcare systems, commerical labs, and research centers on energy management and facility sustainability. Phillip holds a master's degree in exercise physiology (sport psychology) from Texas Christain University and a bachelor's degree in health and physical activity from the University of Pittsburgh.
