Ishani Patel, MS is passionate about clinical innovation, performance improvement and delivery of high quality care. She currently serves as the Section Administrator of Pediatric Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at UChicago Medicine and manages the overall operations, strategy, and management of these service lines. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct professor at Loyola University Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health, teaching Medical Terminology and Careers in Healthcare Administration. She also serves on the Parkinson School’s External Advisory Board, Alumni Board, and previously the Marcella Niehoff Alumni Board. Ishani is passionate about mentorship and development of the future healthcare generation and continues to prepare the youth of today to lead extraordinary careers in healthcare management. One of her greatest strengths is driving high functioning teams to execute projects from start to finish. Ishani also excels in the development of provider strategy and the optimization of care delivery processes. Ishani received her Master of Health Systems Management at Rush University and Bachelors of Science in Health Systems Management at Loyola University, where she was recently awarded Distinguished Alumni of the Healthcare Administration program. In February 2024, Ishani Patel was awarded the Chicago Healthcare Executives Forum (CHEF) Young Healthcare Executive Award.
