Dr. Julie Hobbs currently serves as an Administrator in Primary Care and the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In addition to clinical operations responsibilities, she serves Mayo Clinic as a leader in the Ambulatory Quality and Data and Analytics space. Prior to transitioning into healthcare administration, Julie served as Director of Rehabilitation for many years and continues her physical therapist practice by serving as a volunteer Clinical Director for Minnesota Special Olympics and as a site visitor for the Commission on Accreditation for Physical Therapist Education. She serves as the Chair, Southern Minnesota Local Program Chapter, ACHE MN. Julie is passionate about and highly engaged in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts and serves in leadership roles both professionally and in her community.
Julie received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, both her M.S. in Health Education and Promotion and Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine and Community Health from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Simmons College in Boston. She is an Assistant Professor at Mayo Clinic in both Healthcare Administration and Physical Therapy.
