His career in healthcare operations has spanned two decades across the military, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and civilian sectors. This includes extensive work in clinical neurology operations, patient movement, and human resources management. These diverse experiences have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems and the challenges providers and patients face.

    In his civilian career, Dr. Phillips held leadership roles such as Director of Operations at DLS Insurance Group and Military Health & Resilience Market Development Manager with Humana Military. His responsibilities in these positions ranged from overseeing healthcare operations to developing strategic initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery and resilience among military personnel and veterans.
