Tammy is a recognized health care nurse leader with a distinguished career as a senior executive for ThedaCare.Froedtert. She started her career as an ICU nurse in Milwaukee, WI, and continued her career path at Ministry Health, Marshfield Clinic Health System and now ThedaCare.
Tammy dedicates her career to serving patients and is passionate about giving patients the care they need, at the right place and the right time. She;
• Leads the strategy and operations for the Medical Specialties in the acute and ambulatory setting for ThedaCare
• Previously lead the quality and safety program for Marshfield Clinic Health System
• Coaches and mentors members of her team and across the organizations she serves
• Created, significantly grown and integrated care management programs
• Expanded telehealth/virtual health
• Made crucial strides in value based care redesign
• Implemented the Just Culture Program for MCHS
• Led large-scale system integration with hospitals, health plan and ambulatory care environments
Tammy blends a strategic perspective with a stakeholder approach gained from serving on key steering boards for EHR migration and integration, community benefits, just culture, and system integration. Tammy was the COVID Planning Chief for the MCHS COVID-19 response and successfully led MCHS through the pandemic. Tammy is a talented, value-driven, female nurse leader and a member of the Carol Emmott Fellowship Network and fellow of 2019. Tammy co-founded and co-lead the MCHS Women’s Network for MCHS. Tammy received her BSN from Concordia University and MSN from Regis University, focusing in leadership in healthcare systems. Tammy is passionate about mentoring, coaching and guiding female leaders to achieve their future goals. Servant leadership is her primary leadership style and believes it is necessary in creating a sustainable healthcare workforce and leaders of the future.
