Dr. Mascotti is a seasoned Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer with over twenty years of healthcare experience in large academic medical centers, integrated systems and medical groups. She has had the privilege to serve as the System Chief Medical Officer at Naples Comprehensive Health in Florida, where she oversees Medical Staff Affairs, Physician Integration, Women’s and Children’s Services, Graduate Medical Education, Regional Simulation Center and found the NCH Physician Leadership Academy.
Prior experience includes System Chief Quality Officer/Interim Chief Medical Officer over four hospitals in Long Beach, California and Enterprise Vice President of Clinical Quality at University of Minnesota Health, an eight-hospital academic medical center with pediatric hospital.
She graduated summa cum laude in biology from the University of Wisconsin and subsequently completed her medical education at the University of Minnesota. After her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, in Minneapolis MN, she attended her fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Mascotti was also one of the first physicians in the country to complete a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety Management (MS-HQSM) at Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson School of Population Health and she is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) from the American Association of Physician Leaders (AAPL).
