Jennifer Nickoles, M.S., FACHE, president of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, is a visionary leader who drives innovation, inspires excellence, and transforms healthcare delivery to achieve outstanding outcomes. With over 27 years of service, she has helped to shape the strategic vision for Johns Hopkins Medicine in a number of leadership positions.
In her previous role as vice president of system integration and affiliations for Johns Hopkins, Jen was responsible for integrating the Johns Hopkins network of hospitals across Maryland; Washington, D.C.; and Florida; and leading the Office of Health Care Transformation and Strategic Planning. At the onset of the pandemic, she led a joint team to stand up a 250-bed COVID-19 field hospital at the Baltimore Convention Center. Jen has also been the chief of staff for Johns Hopkins Medicine, contributing to strategic initiatives, operations, and governance.
Throughout her career, Jen has demonstrated a commitment to mentorship and community involvement. She holds a bachelor of science in business and management and a master of science in real estate from The Johns Hopkins University. She is a Carol Emmott Fellow and resides in Maryland with her husband and four sons.
