Program Manager, Enterprise Access
Sutter Health
Grant is an aspiring early career leader at Sutter Health. A double-Bruin, he holds a Master in Public Health in healthcare management, and a BA in Sociology with a minor in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Grant recently completed his Administrative Fellowship at Sutter Health Systems Office where he currently serves as a Program Manager for Enterprise Access. With a portfolio of strategy-based project work, Grant works in partnership with senior access leaders to implement patient access standards for the system and drive strategic initiatives forward.
Prior to this role, Grant completed his Administrative Residency at Kaiser Permanente where his capstone consulting project helped develop and implement new oncology workflows to reduce suspicion-to-treatment wait times for cancer patients and promote more efficient access to cancer care services. In addition, he brings a wealth of health policy research consulting experience through project work both domestically at UCLA and abroad at the Gyeonggi Public Health Policy Institute in South Korea, where he rotated as a visiting health scholar during the height of the pandemic. Perhaps most significant, however, is the 10+ years spent supporting his parents through their multiple battles with cancer which has informed his desire to pursue a career in non-profit healthcare.
Grant currently serves as an ACHE mentorship program mentor where he provides early career guidance to current and recently graduated master’s students.
He is also a featured guest lecturer for undergraduate courses at UCLA speaking on Asian American healthcare issues.
