Jon Sendach is the executive director at North Shore University Hospital where he is responsible for overall executive management of the 800-bed NY metro area quaternary facility. His responsibilities include executive management, strategy, financial stewardship, and leadership of a facility that serves as one of the cornerstones of Northwell Health, as well as an academic campus for the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. For over a decade prior to being named executive director, he served as deputy executive director as well as associate executive director for hospital operations.
A fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and a Master of Public Administration from New York University, where he holds an appointment as adjunct associate professor of health policy and management. A faculty member of the ACHE, Jon leads several executive professional development programs on the national level including as co-faculty of the acclaimed COO Bootcamp, a program geared toward hospital and health system chief operating officers. Jon holds an FAA license as an instrument-rated airplane pilot and in his spare time enjoys traveling to visit friends and family up and down the east coast.
