Tom Jackiewicz is president of UChicago Medicine. He leads the clinical enterprise, including the integration of the patient care mission of the medical center with the education and research missions of the University of Chicago Biological Sciences Division. His career has focused on executing ambitious and broad transformation in academic environments. During tenure as CEO of Keck Medicine of USC, he grew University of Southern California’s medical enterprise into a $2.2 billion regional health system that achieved a top 20 ranking on the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals Honor Roll in 2019 and 2020. Prior to joining USC, Mr. Jackiewicz served as CEO of University of California, San Diego Health System and associate vice chancellor of University of California, San Diego Health Sciences. He is the former president of Global Health Data@Work, which uses data, medical evidence and professional insights to promote more timely, equitable and effective patient care globally.
