As CCS Medical’s COO, Steve Kiewiet is responsible for all company operations across 12 locations in the U.S., driving efficiency, standardization and automation across business units. Mr. Kiewiet manages the companywide project portfolio, focusing on expanding the company’s suite of services by leveraging technology to improve the patient, employee, supplier and payer experience. He oversees 700-plus employees, supporting revenue growth and driving operational profit. Mr. Kiewiet has a strategic and diverse perspective of the healthcare industry supported by more than 12 years of direct patient care and combined with over 20 years in healthcare and supply chain operations. His multifaceted healthcare experience includes product management, pharmaceutical, medical products sales and distribution, business development, and strategic sourcing. He is a nationally recognized leader and innovator in healthcare supply chain, leadership development and operational efficiency. Mr. Kiewiet was featured in The Journal of Healthcare Contracting as one of the “Top 10 People to Watch in Healthcare Contracting.”

Before joining CCS Medical, Mr. Kiewiet served in several progressive sales and operations leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Most recently, he served as chief commercial officer at Intalere in St. Louis. Prior to Intalere, Mr. Kiewiet enjoyed success at BJC HealthCare, Cardinal Health, Defibtech, PSS World Medical, and MCR American Pharmaceuticals, building his career from sales and business development to manufacturing and operations executive leadership. His professional journey in medicine began with his 10-year career in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman. Mr. Kiewiet is Lean Six Sigma trained and certified and is a fellow and board member of the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management. He served as chair of the AHRMM Advisory Board in 2021. Mr. Kiewiet received the Gartner Supply Chainovator award for healthcare innovation. He also serves on an advisory committee with the Health Industry Distributors Association. Mr. Kiewiet holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tulsa and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida’s Saint Leo University. He also has completed advanced management training at Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Kiewiet is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
