Stephan Davis, DNP, FACHE, serves as director of the Master of Health Administration program at UNT Health Science Center (HSC). His teaching responsibilities at HSC include graduate courses in leadership and strategic management. Dr. Davis has provided strategic leadership to healthcare organizations to support leadership development initiatives, promote diversity and inclusion, improve care quality and outcomes, and redesign utilization and care management processes. He previously served as a content expert and item writer for the Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified examination with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and subsequently taught nurse executive board certification review seminars across the nation. He holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in healthcare leadership, systems and policy from Yale; a master’s in health systems administration from Georgetown; and several national board credentials, including Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified Healthcare Finance Professional, Certified in Executive Nursing Practice, Nurse Executive-Advanced Board Certified, Certified Nurse Educator, and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
