Shivani Shah

Administrative Fellow

Shivani Shah was born in Detroit and moved to Austin, Texas at the age of 12. She received her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences with minors in business administration and psychology from Texas A&M University. After graduating, she worked as a test technician and analyst for the quality assurance-engineering department at Hart Intercivic and became a leader for the volunteering department at St. David’s Medical Center. Looking for an opportunity to further her passion for healthcare and move back to her Midwest roots, she decided to pursue a Master of Healthcare Administration degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While there, she did a one-year preceptorship at UI Health under the COO and focused on the implementation of a new surgery center. It was through her school experiences that she really discovered her passion and strengths in data analytics and therefore pursued Vizient’s Quantitative Fellowship in Healthcare Data Analytics and Product Strategy and Management.
