Ryan Walsh is CMO for ambulatory care/population health at Memorial Hermann. Prior to this, he held similar roles at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Unity Point Health. Dr. Walsh has been a practicing family physician since 2005. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and in the School of Biomedical Informatics at UT Health. Dr. Walsh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Saint Louis University and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. He completed his family medicine residency at Methodist Medical Center. He recently completed a master’s degree in medical management at Carnegie Melon University in Pittsburg. Dr. Walsh is a fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is board certified in family medicine and clinical informatics.
