Patrick Conroy is director of safety and environment of care for UCHealth. In this role, he is responsible for all environment-of-care programs, which includes all safety, environmental health and safety, fire and life safety, radiation safety, hazardous materials management, and emergency management programs. This includes 12 hospitals and a significant number of off-campus clinics. Mr. Conroy came to UCHealth after a 30-year career working as a paramedic and firefighter in the Denver metropolitan area. He has served in a variety of supervisory and management positions in the private and public sectors, including serving as the emergency manager for several jurisdictions. He also serves as an all-hazards type 3 incident commander and planning section chief for the Colorado Team 1 Incident Management Team. As a speaker and instructor, Mr. Conroy has presented at conferences across the United States for more than 30 years.
