Vice President, Value-Based Strategies


Based out of Colorado Springs, Colo., Oraida Roman serves as vice president, value-based strategies, at Humana. In her role, Ms. Roman is responsible for supporting successful value-based provider relationships. Her focus is on improving the provider experience and achieving Humana’s path-to-value goals through strategies that develop, support and deploy the best programs, practices and capabilities that assist Humana’s provider partners and internal customers. Her experience includes executive positions in value-based contracting, managed care, physician practice management and Medicare Advantage products. Ms. Roman most recently led a multispecialty medical group, where the focus was on sustainability as the group prepared to transition from fee-for-service to value. Prior to that, Ms. Roman spent several years developing and expanding Medicare Advantage markets with a focus on building value-based relationships with local providers. She has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
