Nicholas Tejeda is the market CEO for The Hospitals of Providence, a member of Tenet Healthcare. He also serves as CEO for The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus and Providence Children’s Hospital. Previously, Mr. Tejeda served as CEO of The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus and The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus. Mr. Tejeda received ACHE’s 2017 Robert S. Hudgens Memorial Award for Young Healthcare Executive of the Year. He was named a Modern Healthcare 2011 “Up & Comer” and a 2016 “10 Minority Executives to Watch.” He serves as chair of the American Hospital Association’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity and on numerous other boards. He earned his master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Wichita State University. He is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
