Laurie K. Baedke is a faculty member and director of healthcare leadership programs at Creighton University. Ms. Baedke is a well-regarded speaker at international healthcare and continuing medical education conferences, and she is the host of a weekly leadership podcast, The Growth Edge. She holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration and is a board-certified fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Her most recent book, The Emerging Healthcare Leader: A Field Guide, was published by Health Administration Press in 2018. Ms. Baedke contributed a chapter titled “The Clinician Entrepreneur” to a book published by Oxford Press in March 2017 titled The Handbook of Private Practice. She is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
