Kim Russel has served as a healthcare executive for 39 years. For the past 25 years, she devoted her energy and talents to serving as a healthcare CEO, first at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa, and from 2008 to 2020 at Bryan Health in Lincoln, Neb. Ms. Russel recently retired from Bryan Health and formed her own boutique consulting firm, Russel Advisors, which allows her to dedicate her time to advising healthcare boards and CEOs. She also serves as an adviser to The Governance Institute. Throughout her career, Ms. Russel has been an active member of more than 20 boards and has served as chair of 10 boards. She currently chairs the Omaha branch board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Ms. Russel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Purdue University and a Master of Health Administration degree from Washington University.
