John Squeo is a principal director for strategy in healthcare at Accenture and the Patient Data Interoperability and Blockchain Practice lead for health in North America. He is an industry-leading expert on strategies for payer, provider and retail health convergence. He advises on health system growth strategies focusing on population health and value-based care, leveraging quantitative methods. Over his 25-year career, Mr. Squeo has served as a chief innovation/strategy officer and CIO with large health systems. He also has consulted to life sciences and health insurance payers leading care model reimagination, digital transformation and automation by leveraging advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence. Most recently, he has helped bring into production phase multiple pharma manufacturers, distributors and group purchasing organizations utilizing a common blockchain to reduce revenue leakage and eliminate wasted clerical labor.
Mr. Squeo holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky and has completed work toward a doctorate in artificial intelligence. In his spare time, he serves as chairman of Access to Care of Cook County and cherishes his time with his wife and daughter.
