Jim Albert provides leadership at Hord Coplan Macht as principal for numerous hospital and freestanding ambulatory projects around the country. Having spent his career in healthcare design, he has helped shape a wide range of healthcare facilities and delivery methods. Mr. Albert’s responsibilities have covered the full range of project types, from large-scale master planning of community hospitals to major expansions, renovations and development of new outpatient centers.

In addition to his architectural expertise, Mr. Albert holds a Master of Business Administration degree, which supports his healthcare clients in evaluating the business impacts of design decisions. He has spoken nationally and written extensively on how thoughtfully designed healthcare facilities can have a positive impact on patient care, quality of life and staff outlook.
