Jayne E. Pope is CEO of Hill Country Memorial, a 2014 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient. Prior to accepting the position of CEO in 2013, she served as CNO at HCM. Hill Country Memorial has been an eight-year recipient of the “top 100 hospital award” during Ms. Pope’s tenure as CNO and CEO. Formerly, she was CEO of clinic systems at a large network of clinics in central Texas, which Ms. Pope led in achieving the highest level of Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition. A visionary and strategic leader, Ms. Pope has increased staff ownership of HCM’s key initiatives, resulting in empowered teams, remarkable patient outcomes and accelerated leadership development. HCM’s patient experience and value-based purchasing performance rank in the nation’s top decile.

Ms. Pope is a board member for the Texas Hospital Association and the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals, and she is a member of ACHE’s Nominating Committee. She was recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of America’s “60 rural hospital and health system CEOs to know” from 2013 through 2020. In 2020, she received the Baldrige Foundation’s Harry S. Hertz Leadership Award. Ms. Pope is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
