Lieutenant Colonel Jarrod McGee joined the Army at the lowest enlisted level in 1996, serving in multiple roles before he was commissioned as an officer. He has been a CFO and COO for several organizations and healthcare systems, and he is currently the commander (CEO) of the 11th Field Hospital and deputy commander (A-CEO) of the 9th Hospital Center at Fort Hood, Texas. He holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration degrees from Baylor University. He currently serves as the ACHE Regent for the Army. Lieutenant Colonel McGee has been recognized with numerous awards, including Army CFO of the Year, Author of the Year, the Capstone Award and a Financial Management Team Award. He is in the Order of Military Medical Merit and holds the “9A” designation, signifying the highest level of professional achievement in his field. He is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
