Heather J. Rohan, RN, FACHE

Heather J. Rohan, FACHE, is a Past Chair Officer of the American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society of more than 48,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. With comprehensive programs in credentialing, education, career counseling, publications and research, ACHE works toward its goal of being the preeminent professional society for leaders dedicated to advancing health.
Board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow, Ms. Rohan served as an ACHE Governor from 2015 to 2018, and as the ACHE Regent for Florida—Eastern from 2011 to 2012. She has also served on numerous ACHE committees.
Ms. Rohan was recently named the executive chairman for Integrated Care Physicians, an emergency physician management company and a part of BelHealth Investment Partners. Prior to that, Ms. Rohan was president of HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Division, Nashville, Tenn., from 2016 to 2020. She retired in 2020 after 34 years of service to the healthcare field. Before that, Ms. Rohan was CEO, TriStar Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn., from 2012 to 2016; CEO, Aventura (Fla.) Hospital and Medical Center from 2005 to 2012; CEO, Palms West Hospital, Loxahatchee, Fla., from 2000 to 2005; and COO, Aventura (Fla.) Medical Center from 1998 to 2000. Earlier, she held leadership roles at several HCA healthcare facilities.
In addition to her service to ACHE, Ms. Rohan serves as the chair of the United Way Board of Greater Nashville and the Board of Trustees at Barry University.
Ms. Rohan received an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Barry University.
