David Hoidal currently serves as CEO of DeltaHealth China in Shanghai, a foreign invested general hospital with a Cardiovascular Center of Excellence. He received his master’s degree in health administration at the University of Missouri–Columbia. His professional career has included leadership positions within both the proprietary and not-for-profit healthcare arenas, including specialty hospitals, community medical/surgical facilities and large academic health systems. Mr. Hoidal has been recognized as one of the top 25 turnaround CEOs in the U.S. and has held senior-level positions in the United States as well as internationally. Some of his previous roles include CEO of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System; CEO of Al Rahba Hospital, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins International in Abu Dhabi; and COO of the Al Noor Hospital Group in the United Arab Emirates.
