Cristian H. Lieneck, PhD, FACHE, has over 10 years of experience in the field of healthcare administration with a strong focus in medical group practice management, and has spent more than a decade educating future healthcare leaders. He began working in the healthcare field in high school as a licensed emergency medical technician, and was later commissioned as a Medical Service Corps officer in the U.S. Army. As a lieutenant, Dr. Lieneck led a garrison medical clinic and a field medical evacuation platoon in the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, and as a captain, he served as the executive officer and Dental Company commander for the Fort Carson Dental Activity.
Dr. Lieneck’s military leadership as a healthcare administrator has been recognized by all of his previous senior combat-arms and combat service-support military officers, and he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal upon completion of his ROTC scholarship service obligation. He has since held healthcare leadership positions for several organizations such as the Austin Radiological Association. In addition to being board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of ACHE, Dr. Lieneck is a fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives and the Academy of Healthcare Management, and he is a Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems through the Health Information and Management Systems Society. Dr. Lieneck continues to participate in professional leadership roles at national, state and local levels, and he is an active member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration.
