Connie Lee currently serves as director of The Appointment Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing access to care for more than 25,000 new referrals per year, and she facilitates appointment scheduling and financial clearance for patients within the 10 specialties the center services. Prior to CHLA, Ms. Lee spent over a decade working in the Department of Veterans Affairs at the facility, regional and national levels in various clinical operational roles. While at the VA, she created the infrastructure for the adoption of a learning healthcare system in an effort to modernize care. Ms. Lee earned her bachelor’s degree in public health from the Johns Hopkins University and has a master’s degree in public health from Yale University. She is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and is completing her Six Sigma black belt certification from USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Ms. Lee is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
