Colleen Kannaday is president of Carle BroMenn Medical Center, a 200-bed, acute care hospital in Normal, Ill., and Carle Eureka (Ill.) Hospital, a 25-bed, critical access hospital. Both organizations are part of Carle Health, based in Urbana, Ill. Prior to joining Carle, Ms. Kannaday was president of St. Francis Hospital and Health Center in Blue Island, Ill. She was also vice president of operations at St. Eugene Community Hospital in Dillon, S.C. Both St. Francis and St. Eugene were members of SSM Health Care, a Catholic system based in St. Louis and the first healthcare recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Ms. Kannaday holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from St. Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Santa Clara (Calif.) University. Ms. Kannaday and her husband, Kim, live in Bloomington and are the proud parents of two children. She is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
