Cie Armstead, DBA, leads the diversity and inclusion vision and strategy for the American College of Healthcare Executives. Prior to joining ACHE in 2015 as its first director, Diversity and Inclusion, Cie served as the diversity center director at the American Bar Association. She is a frequent presenter, writer and consultant on diversity and inclusion as well as association management, specializing in evidence-based practices and strategic collaborations to achieve organizational objectives. Cie earned an undergraduate degree in journalism from Northwestern University, a master’s degree in public administration from Roosevelt University and a doctor of business administration from Northcentral University.
