Carole South-Winter currently is an associate professor of health services administration in the Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota. Previously, she served for 13 years as program director of one of the largest nuclear medicine technology programs at Southeast Technical Institute. She also has served as the interim director of education for the Association for Medical Imaging Management; executive director for Reclaiming Youth International; annual meeting planner for the Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences; and as a director of radiology oncology. Dr. South-Winter has been active with many societies and organizations dealing with administration, education, opinion leadership, global healthcare and imaging sciences. She continues to lecture and write at the local, state, national and international levels.
