Accordant Philanthropy

Betsy Chapin Taylor is president of the healthcare philanthropy consulting firm Accordant Philanthropy. Prior to consulting, she spent 17 years as a chief development officer and foundation president in academic, community, children’s and religious healthcare organizations. She is a faculty member for ACHE’s Senior Executive and Executive Programs and an author of several books on philanthropy, including Healthcare Philanthropy: Advance Charitable Giving to Your Organization’s Mission, published by Health Administration Press and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. She holds an MBA degree from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University in New York. She has achieved the highest level of certification in healthcare philanthropy as a fellow of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
