Amanda M. Stevens serves as chief strategy officer for Hill Country Memorial/executive director of the Foundation for HCM. Since joining HCM in 2005, she and her team have raised $50 million for programs, equipment and infrastructure; grown foundation assets by more than 500%; increased market share and brand loyalty across the region; and helped translate strategy for each person in the organization. Ms. Stevens has been part of the performance excellence team through HCM’s journey to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Prior to her work at HCM, she worked for an international nonprofit in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. In 2018, Ms. Stevens was recognized by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy as one of its inaugural “40 Under 40” leaders in healthcare development. In 2020, she was named “Outstanding Woman of the Year” by the Fredericksburg, Texas, Chamber of Commerce. Passionate about service, Ms. Stevens spends much of her free time volunteering for local nonprofits and community organizations.
