Young Un Cho is a talent management and leadership development consultant with extensive advisory experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical and other related industries. She specializes in enhancing talent effectiveness to increase individual and organizational performance. She has helped to design leadership development programs for high profile leaders across departments to enhance agility, upskill and promote more integration. As the point person for driving talent reviews across the health system, she is passionate about early identification, strategic development and placements of leaders to help them realize their potential. Prior to joining Penn Medicine, Ms. Cho was a principal with Mercer, where she worked with clients across America and Asia. She is an expert in talent management. Some of her projects have included development of a global competency/career architecture, including global leveling structure, leadership behavior design, technical/functional competency model design, career pathing, assessment, and talent deployment planning for functions. Ms. Cho received a joint undergraduate degree in European studies from the London School of Economics and King’s College London. She also holds a master’s degree in international relations from LSE, where she specialized in regulatory issues of international business and trade.
