Stacy Doyle, PhD, RN, FACHE, CPN, NEA-BC
Stacy Doyle is senior vice president of ambulatory and physician practice operations at Children’s Mercy Hospital. In this role, she helps provide strategic direction, administrative support and operational oversight of primary care, specialty care and the provider practice plan. Dr. Doyle has more than 20 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, ambulatory, emergency and critical care and has worked in several healthcare systems throughout the country. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis on healthcare administration from Avila University. For her doctorate in nursing from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, she studied the effects of accountable care organizations and medical home payment models on ED visits. A frequent speaker at regional and national conferences, she is a member of several professional organizations, including ACHE and Sigma Theta Tau International, where she just finished her second term serving on its national board of directors. Dr. Doyle is a native of the Kansas City area and was employed by Children’s Mercy for her first healthcare position in 1995. She has since worked in multiple positions across the U.S., most recently at Children’s National in Washington, D.C., before returning to Children’s Mercy in 2008. She is married to a software engineer, Brian, and has two children, Madeline, 14, and Wesley, 12.
