Scott Kashman, FACHE
Scott Kashman is the market president for St. Dominic Health Services and CEO of St. Dominic Hospital. He brings a depth of experience in healthcare strategy and operations, notably in building high performing teams within integrated health systems. He is a proven leader in Catholic healthcare, recognizing its unique opportunities as a ministry and community anchor organization. His leadership focus is on team member engagement, supportive analytics, processes, and technology to drive innovation and outcomes. His sensitivities to the needs of communities, blended with data analytics, inform his leadership on strategic and operational priorities. Previously, Mr. Kashman served as the chief officer of hospital operations and system ancillary services for Lee Health in Florida, overseeing four acute care hospitals. His nearly three-decade career reflects increasing responsibilities in ambulatory and acute operational roles, including senior executive positions with Ascension Health and Bon Secours Mercy Health. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Mr. Kashman began his career in healthcare as a psychiatric counselor. He has a Master of Health Administration degree from Tulane University and completed an ethics fellowship with the Center for Disability Ethics: Northwestern University School of Medicine. He co-authored the book Mindful Healthcare: Healthy Team, Healthy Business. He also serves as an author for two chapters in the ATD Talent Development and Training in Healthcare Handbook. Mr. Kashman is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
