Sara Johnson, FACHE
Sara Johnson is clinical associate professor for the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and director of Indiana University Executive Education. Professor Johnson teaches graduate and executive courses in organizational leadership for O’Neill and the Fairbanks School of Public Health. She is a past member of ACHE’s Board of Governors and serves on various committees. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health services management and a Master of Health Administration degree from Indiana University. Professor Johnson teaches courses in executive leadership, organizational behavior, and values and ethics in organizational leadership. She also consults with organizations in leadership development and organizational planning and is an executive coach for healthcare and nonprofit leaders. Professor Johnson has received several awards from ACHE, including the Exemplary Service Award. She has received a “Favorite Professor” award from student athletes in 2011, 2014 and 2017. Professor Johnson serves as an adviser to university faculty and leadership and speaks to various community organizations on effective governance and leadership. She is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
