Paulette Davidson, FACHE, CMPE
Paulette Davidson is president/CEO of Monument Health, previously Regional Health. Headquartered in Rapid City, S.D., Monument Health is a $1 billion community-based healthcare system with a mission to make a difference, every day. Monument Health offers care in 33 medical specialties and serves 20 communities across western South Dakota and in eastern Wyoming. With over 5,200 physicians and caregivers, Monument Health comprises five hospitals, eight specialty and surgical centers, and more than 40 medical clinics and healthcare service centers. With more than 35 years of experience working in hospitals and physician practice environments, Ms. Davidson is a respected leader with a reputation for building great healthcare teams. Prior to joining Monument Health seven years ago, she was with Nebraska Medicine, an academic health system, where she held the role of system chief human capital and patient experience officer. Prior to that, Ms. Davidson was CEO for its Bellevue Medical Center. While at Indiana University Health Goshen (Ind.) Hospital, she fulfilled several senior leadership roles, including COO and vice president of hospital operations. She also worked in key leadership roles at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Ill., and Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion. Ms. Davidson is a certified member of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business in South Bend, Ind., and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin at Kenosha. She serves as a regional executive for the American Hospital Association Region 6 Regional Policy Board, providing guidance to shape advocacy and health policy work. She has been a speaker for The Governance Institute, speaking to CEOs and board members regarding healthcare strategy. She has also provided numerous presentations on healthcare strategy and leadership to national, regional and local organizations. Ms. Davidson is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
