Patricia MacTaggart

Patricia MacTaggart has been a public servant for most of her career, serving at the county, state and federal levels in transforming healthcare policy, delivery and administration. She is director of the MPH@GWU Health Informatics and Analytics Concentration and a teaching instructor at the Milken Institute School of Public Health, George Washington University. She previously was a program manager in the Health Care Reliability and Value division within the Veterans Health Administration, focusing on the effectiveness and business value of VHA major investments. Ms. MacTaggart also spent three years at the Office of the National Coordinator and was Medicaid director in Minnesota. She specializes in the transformation of Medicaid, Medicare and private healthcare delivery and administration and payment reform through use of health information technology and data.
