Nwando Eze, MD, FACHE, FAAP

Nwando Eze is a healthcare visionary and board-certified neonatologist. She serves as regional medical director of neonatology at The Permanente Medical Group Northern California, one of the largest NICU systems in the country. Dr. Eze has a passion for helping to build sustainable healthcare systems that utilize all available resources, including technology and mission-driven teams, to provide equitable, excellent, efficient, evidence-based and family-centered care one patient at a time. She joined TPMG in 2015 as a member of the Department of Neonatology, Roseville. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Eze was awarded participation in the 2022 ACHE Thomas C. Dolan Career Accelerator Program. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from UC Davis and her medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine. She received an executive master’s degree in public health from UCLA School of Public Health and completed her neonatology fellowship at Harbor UCLA, where she served as chief fellow. She will be completing her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Massachusetts Lowell School of Business by 2022. She is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
