As senior director of the Financial Health Network’s healthcare market, Michelle Proser is responsible for driving financial health forward through healthcare organizations. She is passionate about working at the intersection of health equity and financial health to advance the organization’s healthcare strategy and make a meaningful difference in people’s financial lives. Dr. Proser brings 20 years of experience in healthcare delivery, health services research and health policy to her role. Prior to joining the Financial Health Network, she served as the director of research at the National Association of Community Health Centers. While at NACHC, she also served as project director for the Protocol for Responding to and Assessing Patients’ Assets, Risks, and Experiences, a nationally recognized, widely used social risk screening tool with companion implementation and action resources. Dr. Proser earned a doctorate and a Master of Public Policy degree in health policy from The George Washington University.
