Lihua Dishman is an associate professor in the College of Graduate Health Studies at A.T. Still University (ATSU). Her research interests include patient-centered care and learning-centered online education. She serves on the Editorial Board of Patient Experience Journal, and as the Health & Human Service Section Chair of Michigan Academy of Sciences, Arts, & Letters. She is a regular peer reviewer for several academic and professional conferences and journals including the Journal of Healthcare Management. She regularly presents at regional, national, and international conferences. She has published in several peer-reviewed journals (e.g., JHM), as well as with SAGE Publishing and Emerald Publishing. She develops and teaches healthcare economics, healthcare financial management, research methods, dissertation, data analytics for decision making, healthcare operation management, healthcare leadership, population health management, and capstone courses at ATSU’s Doctor in Health Administration and Master in Health Administration programs, and advises and mentors students in both programs.
