Leatha Merculieff
For more than 22 years, Leatha Merculieff has forged her healthcare career leading multiple departments toward a best practices approach to enhancing customers’ overall satisfaction. She maintains strong focus on client priorities and expectations, implementing strategies and special projects to meet the need of clients, providers and the communities served by SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. Ms. Merculieff first joined SEARHC in 2015 as vice president of administration. Since 2021, she has served as the organization’s senior vice president/COO. In this role, she is responsible for designing and implementing policies to promote company culture and realize the vision of its board of directors. She is known for building coalitions and creating collaborative relationships with staff, community members, tribal organizations, governmental organizations, and external health, wellness and prevention organizations to achieve SEARHC’s strategic goals. Ms. Merculieff has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
