LeAnn Swanson
LeAnn Swanson is CEO of the National Center for Healthcare Leadership. Bringing more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role, Ms. Swanson is responsible for the overall leadership and operations of NCHL and works closely with the NCHL board of directors on the development of the organization’s strategic plan and direction. Ms. Swanson is responsible for promoting the mission of NCHL and its portfolio of collaborative programs, including the US Cooperative for International Patient Programs, the Leadership Excellence Networks and the National Council on Administrative Fellowships. Prior to coming to NCHL, Ms. Swanson served as executive director of The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance, a national nonprofit organization that provides learning solutions for the organ donation and transplantation community of practice. She also served as vice president of education and quality services for the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association, where she directed and implemented statewide quality and education programs for member hospitals while driving organizational change to improve its education and quality department. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in health education from Northern Arizona University.
