Kristie S. Andrews, FACHE, CPXP, CPC, CDP
Kristie S. Andrews is vice president of human resources at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital at Emory Healthcare. She oversees the hospital’s people strategy. Her HR focus includes recruiting, retention, leadership development, engagement and culture. Ms. Andrews has been with Emory for approximately five years. In her prior role at Emory Healthcare, she served as director, customer and physician engagement, where she supported the human experience as it relates to patient experience, employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, patient relations, and community benefit for more than 250 primary and specialty medical clinics. Ms. Andrews earned her Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare administration at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C., and her Master of Business Administration degree in healthcare administration at Brenau University in Gainesville, Ga. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, a Certified Patient Experience Consultant, a Certified Professional Life Coach and a Certified Diversity Professional. Ms. Andrews is also a certified EQ-i 2.0 and 360 Emotional Intelligence Administrator and serves on the board of The Beryl Institute. She is a proud girl mom of three, and the beach is her happy place. Ms. Andrews is a published author and motivational speaker. She has been a Member of ACHE for more than 24 years. Ms. Andrews is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
