Kim Adelman is passionate about performance improvement and helping healthcare organizations achieve excellence. She is well-versed in working with administrators, physicians and key stakeholders to solve complex problems and execute large, challenging projects. One of her greatest strengths is pulling together teams, building consensus, and leading the implementation of new and improved care delivery processes, particularly under alternative and bundled payment models. During the past 20 years, Dr. Adelman has held numerous leadership roles in nearly every healthcare setting, including acute care, home care and hospice, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and ambulatory care. Her work at ECG focuses on quality and operational improvement, service line strategy and development, organizational transformation, and care coordination. She has indispensable knowledge regarding coordination and transitions of care and getting patients to the most appropriate care setting. Dr. Adelman has been both a contributor and a peer reviewer for ACHE’s Journal of Healthcare Management and a presenting faculty member at ACHE’s annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership. She is also a senior examiner and team leader for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award program, serving on the board of examiners for 10 years. Dr. Adelman is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
