Jennifer Dauer

Jennifer Dauer is chief strategy and transformation officer, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She joined Ohio State in July 2020 from venture development firm CincyTech, where she was an executive in residence and managing director responsible for enhancing and growing its portfolio, cultivating new partnerships and deal flow, and developing its strategic plan. From 2013 to 2018, she was senior vice president for strategy and growth for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. In that role, she was responsible for strategic planning, the Center for Technology Commercialization, business and strategic partnership development, and marketing and communications. Ms. Dauer was previously with Procter & Gamble for more than 25 years, serving in numerous leadership roles, including vice president/general manager of oral care, female grooming and beauty, and new business creation for grooming. As chief strategy and transformation officer, Ms. Dauer is responsible for driving all aspects of strategy for the medical center as well as structuring strategic affiliations and partnerships. She identifies and pursues new growth and business development opportunities, drives partnership discussions with key internal and external stakeholders, and facilitates discussions across Ohio State that encourage collaboration to accelerate and elevate impact. Additionally, she and her team create high-impact plans guided by competitive intelligence and cutting-edge industry practice. Ms. Dauer has a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from Brown University.
