Gina M. Cronin, FACHE
Gina M. Cronin is chief talent officer, guiding the strategy for talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management and succession for the 70,000 caregivers within Cleveland Clinic Health System. In addition, she oversees the selection, hiring and onboarding for 11,000 new caregivers annually. Programs are delivered in the Mandel Global Leadership and Learning Institute, which was recently endowed with a $23 million gift to accelerate leadership development. Previously, Ms. Cronin directed clinical service lines, including overall operations, finance and strategy, most recently as administrator for the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic, which has been rated the No. 1 heart center in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for the past 25 years. She is an alum of the Cleveland Clinic Administrative Fellowship and received her master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. Upon completion of the fellowship, Ms. Cronin assumed a position with the COO in the early formation and growth of the Cleveland Clinic Health System. She also serves as executive sponsor for the administrative fellowship program, providing experiential opportunities, guidance and mentorship to early careerists. She is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
