Felipe Osorno is passionate about unleashing the potential of people and the organizations in which they work. During his career as a transformational healthcare leader, he has directed initiatives aimed at creating a culture of continuous improvement to advance quality, reduce the cost of care and ensure that patient and employee experiences are exceptional. He has focused significant energy toward giving back to communities in the Los Angeles area and advocating for Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities. Mr. Osorno currently serves as chief, Office of Performance and Transformation, with Keck Medicine of USC. Most recently, he led the launch of Keck Medicine’s Gender-Affirming Care Program, which addresses the underserved needs of transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse patients. During program development, Mr. Osorno forged a strategic collaboration with the TransLatin@ Coalition, the largest trans-led nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, to ensure that services were designed for and by the community of patients who would be using the program. Prior to joining Keck Medicine, Mr. Osorno served as executive director of performance excellence at UCLA Health and as an engagement manager for McKinsey & Company. He has a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from McGill University.
