Emily Burrell, FACHE
Emily Burrell has served the healthcare industry for more than 24 years, including eight years as a care provider in hospital and outpatient settings, followed by 16 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience. She currently serves as an administrator for Nemours Children’s’ Health with oversight of 10 teams across three states. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, relationship management, contract development and operations. Ms. Burrell’s mix of patient care experience, process improvement training and management skills help her relate in a unique way to many aspects of the healthcare field. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and a Master of Business Administration degree from Penn State University. She served on the board of Healthcare Leadership Network of the Delaware Valley, her local ACHE chapter, for 10 years prior to being elected to serve as chapter president from 2019 to 2021. Through this work she has received the ACHE Regent’s Early Careerist Award and the HLNDV Administrative Achievement Award. She also served as faculty at ACHE’s Congress on Healthcare Leadership in 2022. Ms. Burrell is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow.
